Jane bravely fought cancer for nearly 11 years, she had the heart of a lion and never let any of her physical ailments beat her.
Jane was first diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 21, she fought hard and endured the treatments offered, unfortunately on getting to five years remission the cancer returned spreading into her bones and then latterly as brain tumours.
Jane never lost her fight, and even though the pain and suffering she endured would get too much Jane put her head down and fought even harder.
Jane passed away peacefully with her family around her, Jane picked her time to go and slipped away at home.
Jane leaves behind her husband Gary - who was with her through her fight and they married in September 2007, which is a day we will fondly remember as Jane never stopped smiling the whole day.
Jane is survived by her mum and dad, and two sisters and neice Aimee who will miss her greatly, our comfort being that Jane is now with her brother David (Canavan) who tragically passed away December 2007.
We will love and miss you forever Jane, you will always (with David) be part of our family and even though you are not here in body your spirit will live on with us.
Rest in peace Jane, the pain has now gone.

You are one brave girl who faced your illness full on. Why are so many young people called home when they have so much to offer and scoundrels live on?
My granny was called Jane and she was the love of my life. She was a Christian and went to the Church of Scotland, The Eastern Star, The Salvation Army, in fact any organisation where she could chat!!!
